Exports
Export documents for study, editing, and review.
Use this guide when choosing an output format, exporting a single page or whole project, or understanding preflight warnings.
Formats
Pick the file for the job.
Reader PDFBest for full-project reading documents with source, translation, footnotes, and structure.
Study Reader PDFAdds source, transliteration, and translation for learners.
MarkdownSimple deterministic text for editing, notes, or source control.
DOCXWord-processing output for further editorial work.
Project ZIPData transfer format for projects, pages, templates, tags, sources, and translations.
Scope
Page export is different from project export.
- Use page export when only the current page matters.
- Use project export when preparing a complete work, handout, or review document.
- If some pages are untranslated, choose Translate missing pages, Export translated pages only, or Cancel.
- Export names should make project, format, and date clear.
Preflight
Warnings protect output quality.
Reader PDF preflight may block or warn about missing translations, possible wrong translation content, uncertain identity, source/translation mismatch, partial nikud, corrupt notes, unresolved sources, missing images, or layout risks.
A warning is not decoration. For publication-style exports, fix or consciously accept each warning before sharing the output.
Review
Use review formats for human editing.
- XLIFF/TMX/CSV formats support human review outside the app when enabled.
- AI comparison reports can be exported as Markdown or CSV.
- Project ZIP is for transfer and backup, not a polished reader format.
