Privacy

Global Library is opt-in and text-only.

SubmittedText translations, tags, source references, contributor username, coarse country/region, provider/model metadata.
Never submittedOriginal scans, API keys, local file paths, precise location, backup ZIPs, downloaded models, Sefaria files, OCR packs.

Profile

Create a public contributor identity.

  • The app can generate a public username such as a learning-focused handle.
  • Location is country and optional region only.
  • No precise GPS permission is needed for this feature.
  • Contribution terms should be accepted before submitting.

Review

Understand contribution states.

Pending reviewSubmitted privately; not visible publicly.

Browse

Find approved community translations.

Browsing should use project tags, work/topic filters, source refs, contributor, and coarse location where available. Only approved projects should appear in public results.
